Regional Centre for Radiopharmaceuticals

This centre is located in the campus of Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology and offers ready to use Tc-^99m radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic use in nuclear medicine departments. RIAs for thyroid hormones T₃, T₄ and TSH are available for hospitals in this region. This centre also provides technical assistance and guidance for starting new RIA and radiopharmaceuticals laboratory. A unit of blood irradiator is available at the campus.
