BRIT is engaged in production and supply of radioimmunoassay (RIA) and immunoradiometric assay (IRMA) kits for various hormones.

BRIT has expertise in the development of immunoassay kits for a variety of substances including those based on avidin-biotin system, magnetic particles and antibody coated tubes, production of monoclonal / polyclonal antibodies, radiolabelling of bio-molecules and immobilization of antibodies on different solid supports. BRIT has developed a novel method for the preparation of Magnetic cellulose* and a new type of magnetic cellulose* suitable for immunoassays and other biological applications. (* Patent pending)

BRIT also gives technical assistance in setting-up of RIA laboratories, training of manpower, custom-made kit development including for veterinary applications. Trouble-shooting at user's end is also available on request.
